New Device May Aid Brain Injury Diagnosis
The rapid diagnosis and treatment of brain injuries is crucial to patient survival. Yet, such injuries are hard to diagnose in the field, both in terms of the injury itself and the severity. A new device in development may provide first responders, both in combat and at home, with a tool that can rapidly determine if there is an injury and the extent/severity of it.
