Purdue to announce largest single gift for research

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels and Purdue President Martin C. Jischke at 10 a.m. on Friday (March 16) will announce a major new program to promote economic development that will be funded through the largest single gift for research the university has ever received.

The announcement will be made during a news conference in the Purdue Biomedical Engineering Building, 206 S. Intramural Drive, near the corner of University Drive and Intramural Drive. Representatives of the funding agency also will be on hand.
